Yoga for Golfers

Did you know practicing yoga can significantly improve your golf game? It's true! Pro golfers consistently use the techniques practiced in yoga to find balance between mind and body, and to improve their mental and physical performance on the golf course. See below for details!

*NEW* Yoga for Golfers
Did you know practicing yoga can significantly improve your golf game? It’s true: pro golfers consistently use the techniques practiced in yoga to find balance between mind and body, and to improve their mental and physical performance on the golf course.

Unlike other exercise programs, yoga is ideally suited to the game of golf, since it utilizes the same 3 planes of movement that is needed on the golf course. A consistent yoga practice will improve your golf game and will allow you to play better for longer and with a quicker recovery time so you can enjoy the game you love more often.

Join Michelle for this 8-week session of 75-minute classes starting Wednesday, January 12th where we will use yoga postures to:
  • improve balance and coordination to achieve a fluid and more controlled movement in 3 planes (frontal, sagittal and transverse)
  • improve your range of motion (flexibility) in tight spots like hips and shoulders for increased speed, distance and accuracy
  • increase the amplitude of your torso rotation to improve your swing and decrease the likelihood of injuries and back pain
  • explore the connection between breath and mind to improve mental focus during play, as well as accept the outcome of the game
