Jay Myren
I have been around golf nearly my entire life! I started playing golf at age 5 and through the years I obtained enough experience and developed enough skill to play golf at a fairly high level. I began working in the industry at the age of 14 cleaning clubs and picking range balls followed by various roles in the pro shop. In 1990, my professional career was launched when I became a Certified PGA of Canada Professional. For many years, I worked locally as an Assistant Professional, but my passion for teaching was strong and in 2001 I switched gears and became a full time golf instructor. In the fall of 2010 I was promoted to Director of Instruction at the Golf Canada Center and now, Head Teaching Professional at Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club.
